"Ignore all the bad reviews and come here! The man who served us was very sweet, and the food is tasty. The fish and chips were delicious, the chips were more a ‘chicken shop chips’ rather than traditional fish and chips but they were delicious. Came with a chicken salt on the side so you could dust them to your hearts content! Got one fisherman’s box and an extra piece of fish and it was great value for 2 people. The tartare sauce was great, a delicious light batter on the fish. Definitely a great spot!"

"What can be better on a Friday by the sea bit to grab some fish n chips. The GBT is a true gem. Food was very delicious, enjoying shark ,salt n pepper squid and a serve of chips. Perfectly cooked. Will definitely be back for some more."

"Got a serve of shark ( you get 2 pieces) and min chips last night to share with my friend on the foreshore. We love the light batter on the fish. Perfect amount as we weren’t starving, suggest another $ of chips if you are. We’ll be back."

"I consider myself a bit of a connoisseur of chips and gravy and let me tell you this place has to be up there with the best. I ordered a snapper 2 serves of chips and gravy and definitely was happy with the price and the service. The lady behind the counter was friendly and upbeat and brightened up my day just a little. Also the location means you can zip down to the beach to eat it with a view. PLEASE TAKE YOUR RUBBISH WITH YOU WHEN YOU GO THOUGH"

"Lovely fresh fish and chips, fish was battered thinly and not soaked in oil. We ordered one serve of fish and chips and 6 squid rings to feed two of us. The serve was extremely generous and we didn't finish it all. Highly recommended this takeaway shop, there menu has great variety of seafood, burgers etc they also sell coffee and yummy cakes. Cater for GF"
